LFC are working closely with NSFA to ensure that our Project 2023 vision can be enabled and this has now been documented in the NSFA Facilities Strategy.

The NSFA Facilities Strategy has been created to provide a clear roadmap to futureproof football in the region. The biggest challenge facing NSFA and its five councils is the increasing demand on local fields, with council studies indicating field capacity will need to increase approximately 40% by 2032 to meet the growing Football participation base.

The exciting news to note within this plan:

  • LFC have the full support of NSFA to upgrade Primula to a Hybrid pitch! Importantly, it has been classified as a Tier 1 Project and NSFA will contribute $125,000 towards the upgrade.

  • Clanville Oval (Roseville) has been classified by NSFA as a Tier 2 project with the addition of lighting plus a scheduled surface upgrade in 2022.

If you are interested to find out more, you can read the full Facilities Strategy document here: https://nsfa.asn.au/grounds/facilities-strategy/.
Additionally if you are interested to understand the NSFA Strategic Plan for the future of football in our region, it is available on the the NSFA website.
