Winter Season 2021 Abandoned

Today NSFA confirmed the disappointing news we all expected - Winter Season 2021 has been abandoned. It is the first time ever in our Association's 64 years and the decision was not made without considering every alternative. But have no doubt, we will come back next season stronger and more determined to play the best football ever!
What does 'abandoned' mean?
Sadly...
No further winter football in 2021
No division winners for 2021, nor promotion or relegation of teams based on their current standings.
Due to football being suspended by Football NSW, no currently registered participant is covered by the Personal Accident insurance. Please be aware of this and the Public Health Order. No organised, NSFA football activity can take place until further notice.
Refunds will be offered. It will take a number of weeks for the FFA/FNSW/NSFA and then LFC to determine the amount and set up a refund process.
Keep an eye on email for details on this & more such as kitbag return and end of season conclusions.
Fingers Crossed the Covid situation improves and SUMMER 5-Aside can take place.
For the JUNIORS we encourage them to keep active and remain engaged with the @xlr8playerdevelopment Programs on Facebook every Thursday afternoon at 4pm which allows them to interact with other keen footballers online.
Remember Koola, QE, Saiala and Primula have the lights on from 5pm-8pm every day so you can still get out an exercise with a buddy.
The clubhouse remains open for Takeaway Pizza and Growlers Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 5pm-8pm.
