We are looking forward to the school holiday break and wish all of you travelling, a very happy and safe trip!
FIGHTMND:
This weekend clubs across NSFA will be participating in the FightMND awareness and fundraising appeal for Motor Neurone Disease (MND), so keep an eye out for opportunities to have some fun but also to raise some much needed funds. There are also some great Raffle prizes on offer eg Win a Sydney FC Box valued at $700, you can Get your Tickets HERE.
LFC will be holding a Juggling Competition at the Clubhouse - simply make a gold coin (BRING CASH WITH YOU) donation, have a go at the juggling challenges and simply scan the QR Code on the banner to enter your details into the draw. See Nathan, our ground controller, to participate.
HOLIDAY FIXTURES & FORFEITS
The competition still runs during the holidays with only the middle weekend July 9th/10th free of games for Juniors - seniors there is no break.
Holidays can make it difficult to field full teams so please plan ahead and let your manager know if you are unavailable for a match - they will need time to find subs or to provide us with a Forfeit form with 48 hours notice to advise NSFA and the opposition. Your team will be fined $50 if this is not provided within the timeframe.
WILL TRAINING BE ON DURING THE HOLIDAYS?
Super League/Diamond League/SAP/Dev Teams:
No training week 1
All teams train the second session in week 2. Contact Lizzie and your coach to arrange if want to also train the first session week 2.
SuperSkills:
TBC Week 1 additional make up session for Friday wash out - if numbers are sufficient - please watch for an email from Gisell requesting your availability
Week 2 sessions as normal
Game Training HUB:
TBC Week 1 additional make up session if numbers are sufficient - please watch for an email from Chris requesting your availability
Week 2 sessions as normal
No Goal Keeper training
Seniors Training
Training as per normal. If your team IS NOT training please advise Lizzie operations@lindfieldfc.com.au so we can switch the ground lights off and save the club that money!
We have now enabled an automated light system to prevent the problems we have encountered in the past with lights not being on. However, this means lights are left on for every session, which we are billed for! Please make a habit of ensuring you advise Lizzie or your age group contact responsible for lights if you won't be training.

U6-U13 TRAINING CAMPS | WORLD CUP 5 A-SIDE
The school holiday break also allows us to provide the sought after Training program run in conjunction with Peak Academy.
If your child age U6-U13 years is interested please find further details and how to sign up in this previous newsletter.
There is also a one day World Cup 5 a-side competition - a great opportunity for the kids to play with team mates, school mates or their summer 5 a-side team. Sign up info on the newsletter link - which can be found under News Archive or Important Dates both under the NEWS Tab on the website.
UNIFORM SHOP
Kanga Cup teams need to have uniforms and shirt numbers sorted asap. Warm beanies, scarves, hoodies, extra socks are a good idea and are also available to be order via our online store.
The Uniform shop is open tonight and next Friday from 4.30-6.30pm and next Thursday 5pm-6.30pm.
It will be closed for the 2 weeks school holiday break reopening only on Fridays from 22nd July.
NEW CLUB SECRETARY
We are delighted to welcome our new club Secretary Lisa Chan to the team.
Lisa has 2 children playing at LFC in our MiniRoos and brings a wealth of experience from the business sector.
The management team (and no doubt, the whole club) are very appreciative of Lisa taking on this voluntary role which will help the Club function more effectively.
PHOTO DAY:
TBC - Note the dates July 23rd and July 30/31st we will have a professional photographer available at the clubhouse to take Team and Individual photos. Details to follow.
