Lindfield FC is proud to announce that it has secured the services of former Socceroo and A-League Head Coach Dave Mitchell as the club’s ambassador! A huge coup for grassroots football!
 
The experience, knowledge, professionalism and network that Dave Mitchell brings to Lindfield FC is immense.
 
From his playing, to coaching and media career, he is well placed to open up opportunities for Lindfield FC and its members.
 
A club playing career that has seen him represent the following
Glasgow Rangers
Eintracht Frankfurt (German Bundesliga)
Feyenoord Rotterdam (Holland)
Chelsea FC, Swindon Town FC and Millwall (England)
Selangor (Malaysia)
 
A Socceroos playing career that has seen him represent Australia in four world cup campaigns and at the Seoul Olympics.
 
A Coaching Career that has seen him as Head Coach of Perth Glory in the A-League, Assistant Olyroos Coach for the Beijing Olympics, and Head Coach in the old National Soccer League for numerous clubs.
 
Dave currently holds a Pro-Licence qualification, the highest you can obtain in the coaching profession.
 
He also has previous experience with Lindfield FC  Over 35s many years ago as a player coach.
 
Dave’s role as the club ambassador will  focus on
-Coach mentoring and providing coach education for our teams from U16s and above
-Offering player pathway opportunities through tournaments and university sporting organisations
-Developing sponsorship and partnership opportunities for Lindfield FC
